Compare Solar Panel and Battery Models
Pick a model in each column to compare it, on either table below. These are commonly-quoted UK models, not an exhaustive list, and figures are typical ranges rather than one manufacturer’s exact spec sheet. See our solar panels and batteries compared guide for the fuller picture, including what actually decides which battery pairs with which panel setup.

Panel and battery figures come from current UK solar comparison and installer guides rather than one manufacturer's datasheet each, so treat them as typical ranges, not an exact quote. Battery figures match our own battery brands comparison post.
SunPower Maxeon panels are marketed on a 40-year warranty, but Maxeon Solar Technologies entered judicial management in Singapore in April 2026 and was delisted from Nasdaq the following month. See our full comparison guide for what that means for the warranty.
A panel's cell technology doesn't decide which battery it can be paired with. What does is how the array is wired: a string or hybrid inverter setup pairs with a DC-coupled battery, while a microinverter-based array needs an AC-coupled one, since there's no DC connection to tap into. See our inverter types guide for that part of the decision.
